Gee, looks like I missed a lot by checking out when I did last night. Though I think I made out better by taking 10/10ths suggestion.
![]() Ok, back on task: The guys were getting over 40mpg on the prototypes even after pulling the GDI. They've gone for the offset valve configuration instead. That on a 6gal tank makes the range around 240+ miles.

Well...
..if Motus can get 240 miles to a tank, that makes the machine even more attractive.
I really like the Honda VFR1200F, but most folks report 160 miles to a tank, and that is not enough. I am liking this Motus more and more. I really hope they can make this happen. My biggest concern is that as a small, start-up company, they won't have the resources to properly develop the fuel injection system and be able to invest enough time and money and resources to REALLY sort the bike out. I work as a product trainer in the auto industry, and you need millions and millions of dollars and lots of engineers to really develop a mass produced vehicle without bugs. Shoot, look at Honda's first gen RC51, the SP-1. That bike had horrible fueling...and that was Honda. I really hope Motus can pull this off. I want one. I will sell the V-Strom and transfer my Scott Oiler eSystem chain oiler over to the Motus.

They are going to have a modern chain so none of that messy stuff is needed.

Sorry, but half the people that post here would love nothing more than to have them fail before they even start.

I'm not buying a MOTUS because of this thread.
