yes. the price point is a bit much imo, but it is cool and unique. I really hope they pull this off, if not I hope someone picks the ball up.

It is what it is...better to have delayed it as long as necessary, than to fail right out of the box.

I can't say "planning" because I need to actually sit on one and test ride it to see if it will be comfortable for long distance riding for me, and have acceptable comfort for the misses for shorter or "weekend" rides. I will say that I'm sick of the shitty quality of BMW's and would like to replace my GSA this year for more of a real sport touring bike. I picked up a 990 to take over as the "adventure" bike and don't need two bikes that essentially fill the same role - especially since I'm so sick of BMW's ruining vacation plans anymore. That said, I'm currently shopping the 1190 and 1190R (I know....but it's just so awesome) seriously, as well as looking at other options like the Triumph Trophy, concours and FJR. It's possible I could go in the direction of a cruiser (more for the misses than me) and am also interested in the Indian and Guzzis as well.

I'd like Motus to be on the list, but for now anyway, they aren't.

I totally agree with this. In my case I'm not holding the delays against them, but the lack of information and repeated missed self imposed deadlines has made me very leery of them.

No I won't hold the delays against them either. OTOH I understand the skepticism when Motus keeps missing its self announced launch dates.

Sounds like they're going out of business.

"Motus is hiring (superstars only)."
That leaves me out. Guess I will stay retired.

I do hope they are successful.

Since it is now January 16, 2014, they missed yet another deadline, with no explanation at all. At least the Hanlons at E-H publicized everything they did. Not that it did them much good.

Easy fellas...

...it is extremely hard to design, test, build, and pass government regulations to mass produce any vehicle.

It's easy to be a critic.

It's hard to start a new motorcycle company.

they are probably way too busy at the moment to bother.
they have all the PR they need, most of the bikes are probably accounted for and the guy dropping 30-40k on a bike is not the masses at an IMS show anyway.

those IMS shows are dying anyway.
AIM Expo is where the future lies and it will expand.

that is all very true.
it's been a hard long road for us and we do something much simplier.

i'm amazed how people can be such naysayers in life.
negative life = negative people = losser
basically hoping an innovative American company fails.
traitor in my book.
