Underestimate New England at your peril, wagon leader.
I damn sure ain't drinking any Falcons kool aid! A lousy and I mean absolutely LOUSY Denver team went into Atlanta LAST year and spanked the Falcons. The media's in love with the new wunderkind QB just like they are in Jets land but it takes more balance than that. Methinks the Falcons are guilty of reading their own press clippings and sometimes forget they actually have to go out and play on Sundays.

If you read what I've written you'll see I'm not underestimating the Pats and while I admit that my prose comes off as that of a wagon leader I'd prefer to be considered a realist. One thing about the Broncos that leaps out is their second half adjustments and the way they pretty much shut down their opponent.

There is no doubt this weekend's game will be a battle between master and student, all I'm saying is that the student's a faster learner than he's being given credit for (include me in as a former naysayer) and he ain't no Mangini.

Stop The Presses!!!!!!!

I just learned that Denver's on the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated. Given the associated jinx that comes with this dubious honor I hereby recall my previous forecast and cast their fate to the wind.

I admire your passion. But not your knowledge.

Balance? You might want to see where the Falcons running game ranked last year. (2nd in yards per game and 4.4 yards per attempt.) While you're at it, look up Michael Turner's stats. (2nd in the NFL.)

And this year they added Tony Gonzalez. The Falcons are a very talented offensive team.

OK, back to your enthusiastic but not terribly well-informed band wagoneering.

Being as you're in Atlanta I bet you have something snarky to say about Braves being eliminated from the NLCS wild card hunt, huh?

I'll chime in on that...

How in the H E double hockey sticks do the Braves get the priviledge to play the 100 loss Nationals 7 out of their last 10 games of the regular season while they are in a playoff chase? And by that same token, how did they NOT chase down the Rockies, who were stuck playing the Brewers, Cardinals, and Dodgers?

Hmmmm?

You Denver fans are head cases!

Broncos suck! Fire McDaniels. Worst team in the AFC West. We suck! We suck!

Oh. Hold on a sec. What's this?

Broncos rule! We're better than New England! McDaniels is a genius! We rock! We rock!

Just wait til the Broncos lose. You guys are bipolar. You'll shoot from manic straight back to depressed.
