No shit. After watching AFA get its ass kicked yesterday I wasn't in the mood to watch my other favorite team lose. Neuman played a great game got Cincy. Decker needs to think about being a "defensive" wide receiver, know what I mean?

I remain very impressed with Andy Dalton and wonder what he could do and how far he could go on a better team.

A semi-talented, momentarily enthused Bengals team that got brought back to reality. Don't worry, all will return to normal.

I have this weird defense mechanism after a decade of dashed hopes... I haven't ranked the Broncos above #3 in my Pick'em. I have refused to get that "Hope" that can be dashed. But, have to say it is coming on.

It is odd that a mediocre team with Tebow drew more chatter here than a good team with Manning.

my take

Agreed. I'm still not sure where to place them with today's game being another one "won" by the defense. I heard some comments during the broadcast RE Manning's statements about just how big last week's game against the Bengals was. He said that the Bengals were gar better and much more motivated than people realize which made the Broncos' win more impressive. After seeing what the Bengals did to PM's little brother today I'm thinking he has a point.

As for today's game......hmmm, not sure what to make out of what appeared to be a journeyman's effort on offense. I can't figure out Fox's play calling at times either. On defense all I can say is that I hope, HOPE, Del Rio stays as DC.

Seven sacks of what otherwise is an all universe specimen at QB ain't nothing to sneeze at!

Next up; SD. I have no friggin' clue as to which Phillip Rivers will show up but something tells me he'll light things up at Mile High and we'll see a barn burner right to the end.

Tebow is exciting. Manning just comes to work.

And performs at an extraordinary level.

Tebow brings enthusiasm.

Manning brings professionalism.

Go ahead and rank em #1 vs soggy eggo. Its the end of the Mayan calander anyway. I'm not woofing too much as long as the pirate costume clan and the rest respect PeytheMan. We have a professional operation for a change.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and listen the the radio cast with Dave Logan and Ed McCaffery. I appreciate their professionalism on air when I can't view tv.

Go Broncos!

"Manning just comes to work."

What?

'Manning just comes to work' in the same way Attila the Hun just comes to Eastern Europe. Or Germans just come to Belgium for some hiking in matching uniforms.

You make it sound like Manning is Rosie the Riveter.

SD - Broncos

Not feeling too comfortable about this week's game. SD has a penchant for starting slow and finishing strong and since this week's game is make or break for them I'm sure we'll get their best shot.

Denver teams of recent past have shown a proclivity to cave late in the season especially against division rivals. With PM at the helm I'm thinking this trend may change, what say you?

It should be a brawl with the two defenses. Looking forward to it. PM should best a frustrated PR in the end. One can keep their cool under pressure, the other, well, he has issues.

I think momentum is on our side, but yes.... a little on the edge of my seat. Philip Rivers has to be perfect though.

Last game was such a good game for us in the complete sense (special teams, defense, offense) that it seems we're really starting to gel.
If we keep that trend and handle the Chargers - and I think we can, it's going to be quite a second part to the season.

I hope Mile High (yes I said MILE HIGH) is freaking ROCKING LOUD!!

The crowd can really take Rivers out of fight early, especially if he has a bad 1st quarter.
