Back to the Raiders. I had no idea the Gradkowski was knocked out of the game. Anyone see Frye's performance? What's this kid like? Will the team rally 'round him and rise to the occassion?
Frye didn't play. They gave the game over to Russell.

They signed JP Losman today. I hope that means Russell went from starter to 4th string QB.

You're a little premature, buddy. OBTW, are you sure of your prediction...I wouldn't want you to mess up your perfect record?

No, no, my prediction is for this week's game: Denver-Oakland.

Denver wins.

I'll pick the Iggles game at the proper time.

Hey, this is MY thread. Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine. MINE!

Got that??!! You jumped the gun with your prediction as I usually don't ask for predictions until Thursday.

From now on I'd appreciate it if you stuck to protocol and not rock the boat.

I'll have your prediction stricken from the record and you'll have to resubmit it tomorrow.

Official Announcement

This thread is now open to predictions for this weekend's Raider-Bronco game except for Wxwax.

Waxy, the Broncos Country Board of Directors (BCBoD) has ruled on your violation of thread rules by prematurely predicting this week's score and elected to temporarily rescind your prediction rights for one week.

Please check back next week to find out about your eligibility for the December 27 game against the Eagles.

I guess this means that if the Raiders win, I still have a perfect record.

How stinking bad is JaMarcus Russell if they benched him for a 3rd string Cleveland Browns cast off?

Frye hasn't played in well over a year and they are asking him to start in Mile High Stadium in the middle of a playoff run in December with barely a week's worth of prep.

Granted he is more mobile than Russell, but I don't think he'll fare too well. If the D-Line contains him, pressures him, and knocks him to the frozen turf a few times, the Broncos will be fine.

Frye will have to rely heavily on Huggy Bear Jr to run the ball. If the Broncos get an early lead, that puts more pressure on Frye to try to throw the ball.

I see a repeat of the first game in Oakland. Broncos 30 - 10

Boy, Spanky would be pissed if he was given a Cowboys avatar, since they spanked the Broncos so badly in the Super Bowl.
