As a life long Bronco fan, I have shifted my attention to the Bolts as rivalry games.

As long as Al Davis can fog a mirror, the Broncos v Raiders will always be a rivalry. Whether that particular rivalry game means anything is an entirely different question. I was thinking today, "I know the economy is bad, but I'd think that would be a boon for Raider's fans. More drugs sold, more prostitution... Why can't they afford to go to games? Or is it they are too busy."

Yeah, the Broncos have a coach who gets the most out of talent. The Chargers have a coach who gets the least.

I remember back when Commitment to Excellence actually seemed to mean something. I remember when the Raiders were regular winners and I hated them and always rooted for them to lose.

It's hard to believe the franchise has become a joke and its owner a seemingly bitter, out-of-touch paranoid tyrant bereft of good judgment.

Strange days for the Raiders. I hate to say it, but 80 year old Al Davis will have to die before the franchise improves in a fundamental way.
