Security has been contacted, you will be detained in protective custody at least until the end of the game. I have tipped them off that you may be carrying an IED. Prepare for a strip search.

I also told them that you had been spotted in the local beauty supply store buying large quantities of hydrogen peroxide and hair extensions.

Carry on...

Last time I took the shuttle to DIA the driver asked me to bring a gift to his cousin in Brooklyn. Is that wrong?

Chargers - Away - doubt it Believe it.
bye
Ravens - Away - no way in hell Affirmative.
Steelers - Home - looking more likely all the time Ditto.
Redskins - Away - I'll take this one Money in the bank.
Chargers - Home - if its cold, there's a shot Rivers' going to get muddied.
Giants - Home - nope Close, but no cigar.
Chefs - Away - They lost to the Raiders And will be the proverbial red-headed stepchild.
Colts - Away - ummm, no F*cking Manning.
Raiders - Home - Unless they bring back Stabler, should be ok Just lose, Baby!
Eagles - Away - Philly fighting for a playoff spot - nope The revenge of Vick.
Chefs - Home - They will have thrown in the towel by then The police will have to stop this beating.

I'm gonna give 'em the Steelers just because they are at home. There's a very good possibility of 8-8. If you would have told me in August that 8-8 was even remotely possible, I would have laughed at you. Still, not even a sniff of the playoffs, but I'll take it. Remember I said 4-12 before the season started.
12-4 See my take above.

I am inching above my 5-11... but even with that I saw the possibility of a 3-0 start. Actually was counting on it. But I'll wait till after Dallas to see how far I'm willing to adjust.

Did you watch last night's game?? Oh, and who's coaching the 'Boyz? And did you see them wet their pants after scoring the last TD?? That included their owner who started dancing a jig in his private suite Neuman crossed the goal line.

The old Cowboys would have trounced an inferior team like the Panthers and they damn sure wouldn't have been doing much celebrating afterwards. This is your new-age, under achieving version of America's Team who I suspect will prance into the new Mike High stadium next week and get spanked by a pretty good defense.

On a different matter who thinks Shanahan will end up in Dallas? Or how about Washington?

Having Mike in Dallas would be fantastic! Both TX NFL coaches would be Denver alums.

Redskins' Plane in Colorado, but Not for Shanahan

There was word out of Colorado on Monday that a Redskins corporate jet had landed at a small airport near the Broncos' practice facility, which, it just so happens, is not far from the home of former Denver coach Mike Shanahan.
Naturally this led to all kinds of speculation, given the focus this week on the tenure of Redskins Coach Jim Zorn following the team's 1-2 start that included Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.
As it turns out, the plane was indeed in Colorado but, according to Redskins spokesman Zack Bolno, it was not being used for Redskins business -- and had nothing to do with Shanahan.
Several companies use the plane for business purposes, Bolno said, which is why it was in Colorado on Sunday. "It wasn't there for the Redskins," he said.
That's about all we know at this point. But with the heat increasing on Zorn and the Redskins, there figure to be a lot of rumors and reports in the weeks ahead.

I would hope that Shanahan has the wisdom to stay out of DC.

Really, or at least until he got himself a gun or two.

... not to mention Shanahan also followed Wade Phillips here in Denver. Denver (under Shanahan) had a relationship with the Cowboys - Denver even took the team down to D/FW in 2007 for a scrimmage.

I could see Shanahan in Dallas, especially if Phillips & Co. underwhelm.
