The Broncos have the same record at this point as the so called "Dream Team" out in Philly.

Playoffs?!? I love that sound byte.

The 2010 Seahawks notwithstanding, you gotta figure the Broncos need to go at least 8-8 to get there. They are 3-5 with 8 games left.

@KC - Tough to go to Arrowhead and get a win - L
Jets @ Home - Nope - L
@SD - I'm gonna go out on a limb and give 'em this one, just a hunch - W
@ Minnesota - I think they win this one too - W
Chicago @ Home - As much as I'd like to see them pound Cutler into paste, not gonna happen - L
Pats @ Home - Tom Brady, umm yeah - L
@ Buffalo - The Bills will be fighting for their lives at this point - L
KC @ Home - End the year strong - W

So, 6-10, IMHO. After the first couple of games, I would have been thrilled to get 4 wins. If things go well 8-8 is not that far out of the equation. KC could be swept, the Bills could be out of it by the time that game rolls around and throw in the towel, and they just may be inspired enough to knock the stuffing out of Cutler. Of course its also feasible that I could be the next $200 million lottery winner. Both are about as likely.

It's a Locke.

This man has a hunch

I find your comments interesting. I admit to not knowing much about Fox other than the fact that he took over a sad sack team and had them in the SB 18 months later or something like that.

The fact that he couldn't sustain them over the ensuing years left me underwhelmed at his abilities so, when his hiring was announced I did a "WTF??!!," yawned, and decided to sit back and watch.

I'm still not sure what to make of it all but something tells me he'll be nothing more than an overseer until the next hotshit candidate comes along. Oh, shit, wait a minute, isn't that how we got McDaniels?

Oakland vs SD - WTF?

I'm watching the raider-charger game and based on the crowd noise it sounds like there are more raider fans in the stands than bolt fans. This isn't the first time I've noticed this, what gives?

I was just thinking the same thing on Brown's last TD. Well, the one he got and they said he was out of bounds and you couldn't see where. Half the noise of the Raider plays. BTW, I heard Seymour predict they would have more fans there. And what is the deal with Bush? He has like two good games a year and goes underground again. Tonight happens to be a good one. I know McFadden is running well, but he is a stud when he wants to be.

The NFL Network just did a scan of the crowd and, sure enough, there appears to be a 50-50 mix of fans of both teams. Carson Palmer just threw an INT. If the raiders lose this game something tells me his team mates will give him a code red.

Sat next to some Oakland fans at a Bronco game. Season ticket holders, they are from the bay area and travel to an away game each year. They said they stopped going to the San Diego games--- to much Oakland on Oakland violence, apperently bunches of LA area gang bangers go to SD. They said the pretty much limit it to Denver, KC or if the Raiders are playing in an interesting city during good weather- like Chicago, NO or NYC.

This Thursday night

Jets vs Broncos: I wasn't expecting NE to spank the Jets like that and wonder what effect it'll have on them as they have to deal with a short week and travel to the mountain time zone.

Any word on LT's late game injury, the one where he got punked by Edelman?

I'm also wondering what kind of game plan Fox will have for the Jets.

Yesterday I was thinking that they'd come out throwing in the 2nd half but it never happened. The Chief's coaching staff just HAS to have their defense prepared to stop Denver's offense, right? But nothing happened and now Cassell's (sp) injured. Oh well, ain't my problem.

Why hold Tebow to a limited passing strategy? Can Denver win with a game plan like yesterdays? NFW.

Didn't expect it, but I'll take it. Hard to win completing only 2 passes in an NFL game, but if KC isn't stopping the run, go for it!
