need to purchace petcock 4 TL250?

Does anyone know where to purchace a fuel selector valve for a 1976 Honda TL 250? Thank's Britt

I checked part numbers on the petcock for the TL with the XL 250 and TL 125 and they are different. None on Ebay. You might try one of the online motorcycle salvage yards. I did see one online a few weeks ago but can't remember where. Have you tried taking the rubber oring and gasket off of yours and boiling it out?

The gasket is shot. I thought someone on the forum might have a parts bike laying around I could buy one from.

This site has rebuild kits for petcocks. I didn't see one for the TL but they list many other Honda's that may share parts. You can go to bike bandit and look and schematics for the different vintage Honda's. Check out the Mt250 and XL 250 one of the round washer may work in your petcock. They looked close and you could trim some if you have to.
