I wonder if that O2 sensor could be removed...

17 years ago I was on a ride with the Sportbike Club de Montreal and we did our yearly "Tupper Lake Run".

This particular run ended a bit different than normal when the entire group of us (50+ bikes) came around a corner to find a multi-car New York State Trooper road block complete with police helicopter hovering overhead.

After giving us a stern talking to they gave us a police escort back to the Quebec border (where the border guard said "I don't wanna know" and just waved us on ).

All these years later... I've re-connected here on ADV with someone who was also on that ride (and who I had hung out with on several occasions back then).

How cool is that!

He's still up in Ottawa/Montreal.

Dunno if he sleds

Back then I rode a CBR600F2 and he had a BMW K100.

Went and picked up the 380 from Jeff's today and hauled it home. I need to get it down to bare bones and send the frame and suspension off.
The bars had a pad across the top - took it and the headlight off and found this. Turns out the bike has a few nice bits on it, damn shame.

Anyone have 50mm conventional forks (like these WP Extremes) and need a Scotts billet clamp?
