Marc,

I had the same thinig happen to me recently.

It gave me the chance to do something I hadn't done in 20 years: I went to a laundromat.

You've never met a nicer bunch of meth-heads, tweakers and crack-whores. Yikes

I did find a good used appliance place up here in Westminster but of course they are closed today. I guess I will get in touch with them next week and hope I don't stink too much by then.

It is not draining properly and is probably the pump. I can probably get a used and guarantied set for cheaper than a repair. After all they are over 35 years old. DOH!

It is just damned inconvenient that is all. i finally got a weekend off and am going to spend it up at the cabin so I guess I will have to wait until next week to get anything done.

I am clean for now.

Marc: do it college dorm style.. put the essentials in the sink with some soap.. swish it around, rinse it, and then drape 'em over the shower curtain rod to dry

Death Valley wasn't horrible... wish we'd had more time to ride and get in all the stuff we wanted to.

Was just looking at the Rocky Mountain MC site and saw that the tusk bar mitts are on sale for $9.99!

Speaking of which, ever buy stuff from RM, then add on a few silly things in order to reach the $100 for free shipping? I have, and just did that on an order. Then, a couple of days after the order arrives, I discover that I need some stuff that I should have ordered. In this case I need brake pads, wheel bearings, and steering head bearings. Enough stuff to easily have pushed me over the $100 for free shipping on my last order, but not enough to get it on this one....I hate that!

Sticking with the theme of "stuff I'd heard was useful but didn't try until recently":

A valve stem puller.

What a great thing! I just swapped two tires quickly and with no swearing. Simple and effective! Why didn't I get one of these a long time ago?
