4 below at 6 a.m. today. The cold and snow have made it SRO at my feeder. The sparrows are hogging it, as usual, and the norther flickers are chewing through a whole suet cake every other day.

Just had a visit with a gent who has a private truck collection..
Dave Schroyer of Celina, OH (of Schroyer Trucking) was kind enough to show me around.

Pretty amazing setup he has:

This is one of there rigs at work today...

I think this truck is my favorite. 1957 GMC 800 (the 800's were rare.. most were 880s)

Maybe you should think about a move, 28 and 3# of snow and all the roads out of town are closed

Lovely Las Cruces

Good stuff. Swing through Iowa and see the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum pretty sure admission is free/donation appreciated. Right next to Worlds Largest Truckstop.

Seems like anymore, the only good the actual parts places are for is buying pre packaged generic items like light bulbs, oil and cleaners. You're much better off just hitching a ride until your internet order comes in for model specific stuff.
Have you seen the "Ask a NAPA Parts Guy" in the Garage thread? He's been looking up parts for people and providing parts numbers.
