I also used a 3M spray adhesive just before stapling to back up the staples. That may have been overkill but the can was just sitting there.
I figured that the $20 stapler was better than paying Seat Concepts to install the foam & cover.

I also used 3M spray adhesive -

(looks decent on full screen)

That is a good break in ride. I broke my Nighthawk in up that road and my DR650, which makes the trip about 2-3 times a week. But you have to watch out for the gendarmes coming into Morrison.

$20 isn't bad, but toss in the shipping cost to sent them your old pan, and you will pay for the stapler.

FYI, I'm looking for a seat pan for a KTM 950/990 to affix a Seat Concepts foam and cover to. With the twist of a key, I'll be able to swap between the low and hi seats. This will come in handy when we go out for beer night. Paula can be the DD on the 990.

Exactly.

If I see a stock 990 saddle for sale I'll let you know.

Some bags on ebay-

Hell, I've got a loooooow Renazco off a 950S sitting in my garage. No tears, but definitely seen a fair amount of miles. Looks like a stock pan if you wanted to go the Seat Concepts route but would probably work as is. I'll get some pics if you're interested.

That was turning around at the gate, it's still closed, following our tracks back, the snow started sticking after the step.

We had to share yours, was pretty cold, but you would have loved it.

This was our training run for Shearboys abuse.

Yeah.. I'm glad I stayed home so they could deliver the WRONG farking sofa.

They're bringing the right one next Wednesday

In the meanwhile we've gotta be very very careful not to damage this $3000 hunka-junk.
