Here's the uni pre filter (right of stock). It has a "special base" attached specifically so it bolts up in snorkel's place.
And if you don't have the European headlight assy (as in the pic above), you should consider that upgrade-

Oh no - thought I recognized that 990, tank vibrated when I test drove it at the dealership for 8 -10 miles on the rev limiter, pounding on the shifter without clutching, didn't shift under power very well, up or down. Floated the valves downshifting so I'd be checking those valves real soon...didn't know anyone here would buy it. sorry, wish you would have asked before buying, hopefully you got a good deal

I suppose all of this is karmic payback for the little test ride on did on the NR750 years ago.

So how did you get quills in the front tire doing a wheelie?

Tall porcupine? Was she just trying to jump up/get out of the way?....poor thing was probably bringing food back to

her babies and you had to run her over...geesh...babies probably starved to death too

Nice Try Hell...now you do have some more bad karma

Expect a call from PITA soon

I never figured a fellow ADV guy would buy that 990, just checking out how tough ktms are supposed to be...bought a POS ktm once so it felt good to abuse the big twin as a payback to ktm. No harm to you intended, animal killer

Seriously you better check the 990 valve train, etc.

The only other dealer bikes I have beat the shit out of have been Hardly Davidson noise makers...those suckers don't rev high enough to blow up, they just wear out quickly, go even slower and smoke....never did like anything bout their ancient technology, their jap parts are ok though -- just like the kokuson ignitions on pumpkin bikes

PITA? I think that would be you guys who abuse bikes that aren't theirs just for kicks. "Payback to KTM"?!?!?!?

PETA might also be calling me about the Llama Incident. I had one guy call the burn unit at Denver General find out how I was doing.

Nothing noticeable on the valves. They were just adjusted. I'm not going to service the valves for another year. I'll probably yank all the SAS stuff then too.

The Weekend Didn't Suck

The jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and cheese then wrapped with BACON were awesome. The fish taco went down pretty easy with the Tecate.

Just a busy weekend keeping up with the local traffic on the beach while the shrimp boats took some time off.

And the sunsets over the Mar de Cortez weren't too bad either.

Might just have to go back...

It was horrible! I was white knuckled the whole way! We should have stopped and had a drink together.
