Bandit? I was a mud flap mercenary. I was hired to rescue those mudflaps from a questionable locale in Parker and deliver them to Colo Springs (where they will later be stolen no doubt).

New try at encouraging safety gear by CDOT.

Hope it has success...says one who's helmet saved his "not so hard" head last year.

Now if they'd just sterilize the deer herd!

Dear CDOT, judging by the death zones created on US 36 recently (no shoulders, lines gone, sudden s turns....) you really have no leg to stand on.

Let's not get started on contractors doing overhead work with 5 cones and everyone standing behind the truck waiting to die from an oncoming car.

I get that CDOT doesn't want to impede the flow of traffic...but my nightly commute is over the top-nuts. I would never attempt it on a bike knowingly.
