anvils

Doc, speaking of low-tech and inspirational ............. I got to watch a fellow shoot an anvil a few times at the Falling Leaf Rally in Potosi, MO this last Oct. That was GREAT! Supposedly they have competitions for this, and it is judged by "hangtime" and how close you can land your anvil to the launch spot. He told the crowd "as a bonus, if you can catch the anvil, you can keep it"!

When they shoot off all the fireworks in Steamboat ...... I always think about all the livestock, wildlife, and pets that get traumatized. There are people that don't find their dogs for 2 or 3 days!

Rob

Made it to Coco's 77th birthday bash. Currently sitting in Guerro Negro waiting for a new shock for my GS. It totally blew apart between Coco and Mex 1. It's a ROUGH road!

We do not start till 8:10! HS and MS Choir/Band is at a concert in Grand Junction, that is 90% of the kids, so it is a district work day. All my work is done. Except grading some labs and getting the prep room ready for the state health inspectors. Gotta hide the fun chemicals. So I am in a little darkroom, with no one to talk to. Pandora is rocking out to the 80's and I am counting bottles of chemicals. After so long of inventory, I am off to google docs and grade some labs. Check ADV and then back to the counting...So now back to counting, I did find 5 kilos of ammonium nitrate...
