I've got the ride, I just wish I had that much free time & money available for saddletime.
The cliffhanger road looks like Hawk's Nest; Rt. 97 just north of Port Jervis, NY on the Delaware River. Short, fun stretch of road with nice views and lots of local riders. Too bad Up2nogood22 had a misty day.

Great stuff. I have had my '91 FLH in some wild places - on and off road. I will have to pull out some photos to share. Keep 'em coming.

6,000 miles across Oz by 1977 Sportster.

If adventure is taking inappropriate equipment to places it was never designed to go, then touring on a 31-year-old AMF Harley Sportster probably qualifies.

Full details of my 6,000 mile vacation ride from Cairns in northern Australia to Adelaide on the south coast are here on this thread:

And a couple quick pics here:

WOW! ... Now, which Harley model is this Con-Rod from? ... I know the Sportster is considered the "little Harley", but this is ridiculous!

Still have my 'old friend'

Nice to see the Harleys being used for what they are best suited. Sightseeing Here's a couple of pics with more to follow of places I've been. Judging by the pics already posted there is much more out there for me to see. Great thread!

Kancamagus Highway New Hampshire June 1995 on my brand new Softail Custom.

Montana Mikes Lost Village Bar Roberts Montana August 1998

St. Peter St. New Orleans May 2001

San Juan County New Mexico June 2006

Route 66 Daggett California June 2006

June 2008

Crater Lake N.P. June 2008

I still have my 'old friend' and we are going to Mexico this coming April.

Wow, nearly 15 years! How many miles on her?
And we want a Mexico Ride Report when it happens!

I have 43,000 miles on my 'old friend' and it still looks new. Every time I think about buying a new one I feel guilty about abandoning this one.
I'll post a Mexico report for the Harley guys but it will probably seem mundane to the dual sport guys.
Here's me and 'OF' in Rock Springs Wyoming last year.

Stu I think you miss the point, may have something to do with that 'lepoard skin pillbox hat' you wear, or maybe you been riding sewing machines too long. I think I'll belly up and smoke some of what 'round i GO' has!
