All set and ready to leave.

On one of several ferries that I took while on this trip. This one was in Louisiana.

The only Harley dealer I've ever seen in the US that also carried other brand motorcycles (besides Buell of course). This one was in Roswell, NM I think.

White Sands National Monument, NM.

Saguaro National park just outside of Tuscon, AZ.

Joshua Tree national park, CA.

Riding along the PCH, somewhere north of Cambria, CA.

Lincoln City, OR.

Alright, that's it. I think I've highjacked the thread enough. Hope y'all enjoy!
This Harley (with a lot of others) is in Vernal Utah - I don't recommend stopping there...

I laughed really hard when I saw the "Beers" sign - but it turns out that it's owned by Randy Beers

Across the street was the yamaha, something else, moped, scooter place...

Cool2 Harley Road Trips

My buds and I take a trip every other year from Cleveland, OH to the western National Parks. Most ride Harleys, but I also ride a 2004 R1150GS. On occasion, we have a Wing and a Guzzi in the pack. On our last trip in 2008 we went to Yosemite National Park. Our trip is chronicled here; Road Trip 2008: Yosemite
This will take you out of the Adventure Rider site but I hope you find it worthwhile. Easier to do it this way rather than move all the pics over here. In 2010, we are headed to Oregon. Our plans for that trip are here: Road Trip 2010: Oregon. Enjoy.

Here's a shot of me with my 2002 Road King Classic in 2002 at Lake Powell, AZ.

Here's a shot of me with my 2002 Road King Classic at Glacier National Park in 2006.

Another great story, FF. I can't believe you left that view for our lowly East coast.

Sideways- ever run into trouble with the capacity of that peanut tank out in the Alaskan wilderness?

Thx, Joe. We (Denise 'n me) moved out here chasing adventure. We both grew up on the West Coast, and wanted to see/ride/experience a part of the country that was new to both of us. I had done a couple of Parkway rides over the years, and the last one kinda sealed the deal. We're digging it.

Take care,
FF

Coastal passes Harley Trip

Western Cape South Africa
With www.motorradadventures.com

As the weekend was upon us the wife and I decided to hit the road and meet up with friends from HOG and do some riding along the coastal route towards Cape Town and to Riebeeck Kasteel for one of the most memorable ride over three days.
The photos will tell the story of the amazing riding country we stay in and the entire HOG thanks it was a great ride.

This is GREAT!

My 2005 FLSTCI at the Courthouse in Giddings Texas

On a dirt road bridge in East Texas. Who says you can't ride a Harley on dirt?

At a Patriot Guard Mission at Ellington Field, Tx. Very windy that day.
