I'm less than 50 feet from the birds and shooting through dual pane windows. So focus is tricky on some of them.

The bird shots are with my 'good' camera ( that means so big it need it's own trailer ) which is A Fuji Fine Pic S6000 fd with a 10X zoom (28 - 300 mm) & 6.3 Mega Pixels..... I can shoot RAW with it but don't do that a lot unless I have time & good light and am really trying for high quality pictures. Pretty much wasted on putting stuff to be viewed on a computer screen. The higher resolution JPG's do just fine & the camera cycles faster....

I have a small Canon that you probably see me use the most I would think but..... ; the best 'on the fly' camera is an older Fuji F-10. Works wonderful with just one hand and set at 800 ISO, it stops most bluing unless I am really being silly.

Yes, still have many finches...... Seem to have several different wood peckers & so far they are staying. They did Also at out other house down south. About 90 miles as crow flies...

You can have the dillos but it is a great picture of one, I want you to send the Bobcat, coyotes, buck, all we see are does, we have plenty possums, raccoons, feral this & that. Oh, Oh, we want more Fox. Don't have nuff....

I have not started trying for the critters here in Prairie Grove as we are still moving. Will be for some time it seems too.

Go here if you want to waste some time & look at earlier CC albums. I'm on 43 now as you can see.

It is all open and you are welcome to wander through whenever you have time & inclination.
If you see them all, I also have some at https://picasaweb.google.com/116298515843829538956

You can go there & work through those albums also. Bawahahaha

The one you are on now is https://picasaweb.google.com/Dragon43

Got any more? Where were yours taken?

I have lots of relatives in Texas, down South and around Muenster where I am from....One cousin has a trail camera and gets stuff but mostly he fights the wild pigs....
