I'm with you on this. Minus the Flyers, I usually can't stand Philadelphia fans. Plus a local match-up means more opportunity to talk trash. Bring it.

Philly fans are quite nice to be around after a few of Philadelphia's finest have softened them up.

I was at a Monday night iggles game (at the Vet) and a fan was being a bit boisterous down below my row. Clearly this gentleman was not heeding the direction of event security so one of Philadelphia's finest came down to discuss the matter. What did this knucklehead proceed to do? - slug the cop. Several very large officers finished what the first cop started and the fan was a picture of civility after that. - in the paddy wagon

2nd error for the Angels!?!?! Not much up on their stats but that seems uncharacteristic - and it just cost them a run...

Let's Go Yankees

Let's Go

Angels were uncharacteristically soft on defense with 3 errors but hey, we'll take it. New York bats aren't even warmed up yet. I predict a 4 game sweep. God bless the New York Yankees and their 27th World Series Championship.

I quite agree. But back to the Phillies game.

If they hope to win this series, the Phills need to find an exorcist who can drive the spirit of Chuck Knoblauch from Chase Utley's body.

I haven't seen yips like this since Tom Watson turned forty.

I thought it was Mackey Sasser that put a spell on him.

That's a name I haven't heard in a century. I don't even remember who it was.
