Ride to Eat destinations
Sorry if this is not the right forum to post this... couldn't really see one that fit.
Anyway, I put together a GPS/Mapping friendly Ride-To-Eat list on a website called ridetoeat.com The main features are that there are hot links to google maps for each restaurant, and there are links that allow you to export the data for use in your GPS or mapping program. It's fairly well populated, but there are big holes. The site depends on entries from riders. It only takes a moment to add an entry. Some woefully under-represented states out there still. If you know of a good RTE spot in North Dakota... how about entering it at http://ridetoeat.com/rte/add ? Current state/entry count:

Well, a few people added some... but man, still nothing for:
Cafe Veloce in Kirkland WA? Zeitgeist in San Francisco? The Root Beer Saloon in Alto Pass IL? ANYPLACE in the Black Hills, Wyoming or North Dakota? If I don't have any of those, I know there are LOTS more great Ride to Eat destinations I am missing... Just suggesting them here doesn't work... you have to go to http://ridetoeat.com/rte/add and enter the information... it's as painless as I could make it!

Several for Idaho and MT. One in Mexico and two in Baja I could put them here.

Walat's Ham Sammy
![]() Walat's. At the summit on Rt 30 a few miles east of Ligonier, PA. Bring tuperware and you'll have enough ham for your omelets for the next week. Google map it with satellite view ( 241 Lincoln Hwy, Boswell, PA 15531) you'll see its somewhat of a biker bar.

You can go straight to the add function at http://ridetoeat.com/rte/add and avoid loading the main page. I look forward to your entries!

Still very slow, but I entered 8.
Rancheria, Yukon Cameron Trading Post, near Grand Canyon Nano Fongs, Baja Sur Rancho El Coyote, BC Mexico The Spragpole, ID All Seasons Cafe, BC Canada Woodbury Resort and Marina, BC Canada ME and Lou's Diner, ID I have a few more if these are getting thru. These are true destination eateries. Good food, good roads. By the time you reach these locations you will have ridden some good roads.

It took me some time to find the Lat/Lon data for some of those! If you are adding more, and it's a location that doesn't have a traditional street address, the Lat/Lon data would be a great help if you have it handy. Thanks for the entries. I Don't know why it would be running slow for you... the main home page has a lot of data, but none of the other pages do.
