Let's let his thread hi-jack end now, please.

It's history. Let's tag on.

Nice tag!

I took some pictures of one in running condition at a Mack truck dealer in Salem VA. back in the mid-eighties. Now I've got to go find that pic.
I am hanging on to its crank Motor does not turn over, or I am weak.

I'd let it end but I don't think you understand that there WILL be new players who will ask questions about the games and the way your post was worded was a little confusing to new players. If I hadn't seen it used before I would have assumed the same.
Why should it be in a PM? The more times it's posted here the less the questions will come up over and over. You have never asked a question about tag games?
Just because you know how it's played, and are familiar with the games doesn't mean the rest of the world is. I never saw once where he said you were breaking the rules but i did see where the both of you got confused by what the other had typed.

IMO typing "grab" for claiming the tag is better then "old tag".

You know what they say about history repeating itself....

Tag on!

Opinion appropriately filed. Can we move on, yet?

No kidding. I'm about ready to pull the doors off of my Jeep for the tag just to give you guys something else to complain about.

Sounds like someone's having a grumpy week.

I've searched everywhere I can think of for an open cab to no avail. I'm sure there is one around here somewhere though. Just not looking in the right places. Would be good to move the tag along and put the drama aside because the fun light went out on that conversation several posts back.

But, always one to add fuel to the fire , and because I'm not doing anything else right now, my .02... "old tag / new tag" can be a bit nebulous as descriptors and confusing, especially in dialogue where one person may not be communicating about the same thing in the same way as the other person. Old and new, being adjectives that rely on a relativity in definition to their counterpart, don't signify actions in process or completed nor do they describe an absolute measure of stasis. Old becomes new which then becomes old yet other things can be old or new too. Terms like grab and drop are much less apt to cause the kinds of misunderstandings seen here. Inevitably it won't be the last time there is confusion.

We all process information and find meaning differently. And what I find most fascinating in thinking about it is that every word means something slightly different to each of us. Yet defining that difference is a practical impossibility until we stumble into these kinds of conflicts.

Anyway that's my existential rant for the evening. I could sure use some lemonade about now. It's about cool enough to go for another ride and look for this tag. The egg wants to get a grab in his counterpart wild card game

Enough already, I'll go to town tomorrow morning and get a picture of the open cab firetruck in the firehouse foyer, unless a night owl gets one tonight.

Keeping with a similar theme. A vehicle that was designed and built for one function, then converted to a design with an entirely different function. This wrecker originally was designed and built as a Fire truck. Could be a school bus made into a mobile tatoo salon, or a flat bed trailer made into a bridge.
