Old Wooden School House
I searched and saw other wooden structures, bridges, items, etc. But not a wooden school house. Sorry if it's a repeat.
Tag shot: ![]() Some info. ![]() There are others scattered about the US. It would be cool if another was tagged. But any old wooden school house will do. |

Grab, Old wooden school house
I knew where I was headed as soon as this came up - Fort Christmas, Florida!
One old wooden school house: ![]() Yes, it's been moved and restored. But it's still the old wooden school house: ![]() And on the inside: ![]() Here is a picture of the school house and lunch room when it was in operation: ![]() Replacement tag coming right up!

New tag, where the kids eat lunch.
Where do kids eat lunch nowadays?
This is the lunchroom they built next to the school house. Both were moved to Fort Christmas and restored. It's really beautiful inside. But here is the lunchroom with my bike, just to make it proper: ![]() Headed up the front steps: ![]() A little background: ![]() And a shot of the inside. Probably looked different when the kids were eating in here: ![]() Modern, old, on school property, across the street - it's a wild card game! ![]() So where do the kids eat lunch around your neck of the woods?

Please see Post # 3493 "New tag, where the kids eat lunch."
![]() A school cafeteria, a picnic table by a playground, a Mickey D's across the street from a school. All would count. It was supposed to tie in with the "school house" theme. But I suppose that could have been clearer...

Got it. Thanks. Sorry for the confusion but I tried to put enough smileys in there to make sure it was not taken the wrong way.

Re: union school grab.
Nice photos. Cool place. Looks good all restored. Re: bruced. Another cool old wooden school house. I reckon splinters in the rear were common back then. |
