...just looked at your TriTOR grab pic. Maybe the angle but those steps appear to be a bit taller than I expected. May not have enough clearance on the F8 to climb them.
Just got everything put away and it's a minor effort to get it back out - good "loss prevention program" - but the tag placed following the one in question has a place ripe for something like that about a block up from it.

Once the KTM 350 Freeride is in the stores, it's going to be very hard to avoid getting one for just this reason - cross between a trials bike and a woods bike that's street legal. My plans for replacing my trials bike in the future are fading fast because of that bike.

Yep. My pig of an F8 is sure heavy when it decides to sleep (or when trying to wheelie over logs or come down from those inadvertent airborne moments). I'm not sure why manufacturers make their "DS" bikes so heavy...was talking to Rugby yesterday and he was saying that his CBR weighs less than his DR650...which weighs a hundred pounds less than my F800.

As much as I like the smaller DS bikes I really need one that'll handle distance rides and have the ability to load up some gear...someone needs to make a 450 and put it in a frame that's designed to carry some weight. I'm on the fence about test riding a 2001 KTM 640a with Ralleye mods down in SC...this bike is set up for the TAT and has apparently done about a thousand miles of it.

I think to find something that would truly qualify as a usable dual sport, you're almost going to have to look at KTM, Husaberg or maybe the Aprilia 550, if that's still available and if it's street legal. For something requiring minimal mods, that is.

Point of order: Doesn't your bike need to be in the picture of the tagged item(s)? If the tag is two bikes of the same model, then, ideally, there would be three bikes in the picture.

I'm ok with it.

I thought I might be called on the dual sport statement, adventure bike I guess would have been a better description. Just don't tell my wife.

218# including e-start, FI and street legal. I wonder how light they could have gotten it if they'd gone with a 200 2S and no e-start. 190-ish?

So is 1/4 the new tag? If so, consider it grabbed. I was hungry for some Sonic...

So I got a quarter pound toaster...
