.. I didn't know there was one over in Raleigh ..

.. I do know where that particular one in the photo is though .. lol ..

.. must be the lousy weather that's caused this one to last so long ..

Really? I haven't seen one or have been able to find one. Continuing the search.

It's here. Shows up in Google and everything. Not in Raleigh per se but no more than 15 minutes drive from downtown. If the tag is still sitting I may have to take the circuitous route home.

Yep, Pisgah it is. A little gravel leading to the spot from which I took the photo, but it is also visible from the asphalt on the main road. You can grab the same site, come get it!

New tag

These people make bridges go boom. Find me someone who specializes in blasting and/or explosives and/or demolition.

I could go so many places with this one. In fact, if it hasn't been grabbed, I might snag it at work tomorrow.

Well done on the covered bridge grab!

I used to work for a blasting company back in the eighties, Capital Drilling Inc.
I found a video someone took of one of the blasts.

Here is a Quarry shot. Nice!

Here's one that didn't go too well

The tags are safe from me for a bit. I was on my way to work yesterday when I got intimately acquainted with a guardrail. I was going to do a creative grab and visit some friends on the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team on Fort Bragg.

If any of you need some motivation to be ATGATT, here you go. I didn't get lucky, I just wore my gear, and I walked away from what could have been a deadly accident.

So Boris is down, the Honda needs carbs cleaned, and the Triumphs are broken down for Winter building. So I'm out until Russia sends me parts or I find time to fix the Honda.

RidingDonkeys,

Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad you are ok and the bike can be fixed. Will miss your play here, hope it will not be to long before you are able to ride again.
ATGATT- I do follow this plan, difficult sometimes in the hot summer, but now if I even move the bike without a helmet and gloves it feels naked.........

I passed a pick up carrying explosives today but didn't get the camera out in time, not that it would have met the requirements. Then I stopped on the way back from another tag game to a business that does blasting but they had no signage stating so...
