Thanks for the video, Doug! That is going to be one cool bike.

Curious - what's that Wankel redline at?

One site has the tach red line at 6500 but Doug's appears to be 7500 in his video if you full screen it and look close.

So how much of a difference is it going from the Harley to a 294cc 27hp single rotor rotary Doug? Hey at least with this one you'll have a nice big windscreen, a front fender, and suspension! Before anyone says Doug is going soft or cheating with this bike they gotta remember this engine was only made for a few years in low numbers and the engines ran very hot. Hopefully Doug won't have any problems if he keeps his speed up and stays outta the 100+ degree weather. Oh and did you happen to find out "What bike number?" LOL

Nice find Doug, keep up the good work!

I didnt ride it much, as the tank is still fulla rust, but I found an original paint tank for it, so now that it runs, I'll work on getting that. I'd prefer an orig paint tank over painting this one, as I prefer to keep it all original. Plus, I have to get the stock headlight & get rid of the lil fairing.

Coming soon, Yankees invade Alabama...again.....

(I guess since I brought em to stay, they are Damn Yankees! )

I've never even heard of a Yankee. Who needs the school's history class? I can learn it right here. Or, at least history I'm interested in.

Yankee is known as OSSA in the rest of the world, just like Sears and PUCH or American Eagle and LAVERDA

Cheers,
Greg

Sweet. It sounds like a 2 stroke.

Does the Suzuki sound like that too?

I remember a friend's brother having an OSSA in the late 70's. It was blue and orange. They acted like the bike was a big deal.

Gilera was sold as Sears, too. I believe only the 106cc models.
