If you're gonna mud it around, might I suggest some foam air filters...Bonnies can be a bitch as it is to get the carbs right.

I got it a few years ago, guy sold it to me because of a trans problem. I fixed it, then he got mad when I didnt sell it back to him. I still dont hear from him (before I bought it, I had offered to help him fix it)
anyhow, it was in cafe racer trim then, and I've slowly been hunting parts & making it the way I wanted. Only thing left is to install the hunt mag when it comes back (just because I like em)

...1965? It's got some nice period chrome upgrades.
Looks like a TR6C headlight and later stainless fenders. Those oversized exhaust fins are rare as hen's teeth. Someone loved that bike.

I'm hoping that seat is REALLY comfortable or has personal meaning, because some kid with a Rupp minibike is looking for it and it is UGLY.

Sweet trumpet Doug. Glad to see a bike like that being ridden and not turned into a pimp polished trailer queen.

its been a busy time, trying to get the 101 done before I head overseas, and then I find a big pile of old crap. So I had to buy it, because if those picker guys had found it, they may have bought 2 or 3 parts.
It was a couple buildings/sheds full, plus stuff in the yard, under lean-to's, piled under sheets of tin, etc. The big building was about 40x40, and 3-5 feet deep in crap. ![]() ![]() I walked past the green box a few times, before I realized it was from a harley servi car. (sensory overload) Oddly enough, I am needing the two loops/handles for mine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I didnt feel like just piling up the stuff I wanted, so I just made an offer on the pile.
That was a great idea. ![]() It took 3 of us 3 days of digging & loading & 5 truck/van/trailer loads to get it home (80 miles each way) by the end, about 30 jap bikes went to scrap (they were in bad shape & incomplete) ![]() ![]() Pauls axle went out on the way home, so I had to go home, get another vehicle to tow the trailer he was pulling, and have his truck towed. joy joy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() if theres a tree growing up thru your Indian, its probably been parked too long. ![]() this honda had been sitting even longer ![]() ![]() ![]() Had to rent a place to store/sort the parts

It almost looks like a CL100 but I don't think it is after looking at the tank closer.
