Ex-sportster owner

Hey Doug,

How bout a picture of the new dirtster? You made any new mods or are you following same game plan as the one you are leaving in Europe? Took my bike out a couple times lately and my neighbor got a sportster - made me a little lonesome for mine - the I rode the vx again and was happy with my beast.

Enough of that though - how about more adventures digging through red neckistan...

God bless you brother

Thats a ride I'd do in a heartbeat.

I'll buy a beater just to ride along.

my biggest problem, is when I get home, I'm so busy working on the next thing, that I sorta lose interest in the previous one.

And again, I do apologize for that. Im gonna finish the c-ball one tho. I promised I would. Luckily, I didnt say when.....

I'm hardly one to claim a great mind, but, we're thinking alike anyhoo.

Last year while drinking and watching E-bay I saw an ST-3 Duck motor going for a song, some kind of X-mas sale . So , I bought it.
Then I wondered , What am I to do with this motor ?
So , of course I think, Off road sidecar.
Then I start looking for parts and it starts looking X-pensive.
So, I buy a whole bike, that runs and proceed to put 1300 miles on it and listen to negative stuff from my "friends " when I tell them it's coming apart to be transformed into a DP sidehack.
Then a goofball turns in front of a woman , she nails the goofball , his Kia swats down my Duck at a gas station.
Then I collect a settlement from the goofballs Insurer and continue to gather sidecar pieces with no more greif from my friends.
Happy ending ? At least a happy begining.
