Doug,

Been following your thread silently for quite a while. Got this link on an e-mail list and thought you would enjoy (but you've probably seen it already).

There is no such thing as a little adventure for Doug, Doug has "Man sized" adventures. Watch out for singed eyebrows and volcanic ash on his shoes in his next picture.

I wanted to move my pegs back & down for the dirtster, as I'll need to be able to stand up during river crossings & other fun terrain variables.
I found this webpage http://chainsikle.com/
and contacted Shane, the owner. I liked the looks of his setup, & thought I'd give it a try.

I got his kit in the mail, & I have to say, it is one of the best thought out & easiest to install kits I have ever seen.
It all worked as it should, the instructions were perfect, & all the bolts were even taped into the correct holes, which saves alot of time.

It uses your stock shiftlever, & the stock master cylinder. the brake line even works, altho I think I will put a braided ss line on it.

of course I could have probably made my own, but it would have taken me a week of dickin with it to make it work, and woulda looked like shit :)
These are rated for 300lb per side, so I dont think I will end up breaking anything.
the pegs are from Joker Machine.

Two thumbs up from me!

Doug
