The Falco in the hotel courtyard in Mazatlan two years ago, after I drove off a steep shoulder and cracked the oil tank. Was back on the road by noon the next day.

Had a battery failure (after a very bumpy day of riding through the cane fields) in Tamasopo on a trip to Mexico this year, but I blame Yuasa for that one, not Aprilia.

Coming up on 40,000 mostly hard miles, many in Mexico, and this bike remains the single best material thing I have ever possesed in my life, hands down.

Still got the SFC - as we returned from our honeymoon back in '01 my new wife looked at me and said "you going to buy yourself a laverda then?" so I did.
got knocked off it in the Netherlands back in '05 but it's been mostly fixed since that misshap.

Bought the Pegaso as a slower bike to replace a VFR750, It didn't slow me down at all but was great fun for chasing much faster bikes around the Scottish highlands. Should never have sold it & my wife has told me to buy it back next time I see it on ebay.

Bought this after I got knocked off the SFC & ran it for a year. Sold it to a mate in Glasgow.

And that's it for me & italian bikes. The 350 MV in the spare bedroom belongs to my wife

The Sport. My 96 carb Sport that is:

A little worse for wear. Buddy of mine took a spill on it and although I ordered new red faring, I rcvd. a black one. White wheel is a Daytona pc. needed after a pot hole took out the front wheel.

I have had this bike about a year and for one reason or another I have not riden it that much. If it turns out to not be what I want, who cares, I'll keep it to look at. 2000 husky TE610e:
