Love those Falco's. Had both a Futura and a Capo but always wanted the Falco. Almost bought one with very close to that color scheme but turned to the dark side with a Guzzi.

So i got rid of my V7 and bought a post-apocalypse bike:

I no longer look like a clown on a tricycle and it's much better suited for commuting: lot's of power, ABS, I sit tall and have great visibility, and hand guards to knock mirrors out of the way when I filter or split lanes. :) Not really a "Road Warrior" bike, though. More of a "Beast".

Naw, that's fer sure a Road Warrior. A 180 rear, a proper diameter front, and a tiny tank range disqualify it from the grumps up in Beasts. The handguards, high mount fender and long fork tubes do give it a little ADV esthetic appeal though. :)

750 or 1200? I used to have a 750 and it was awesome.

750. No more 1200s stateside - they won't meet emissions. Dealers still have a couple 2012 demos though.

The extra suspension travel is a huge plus. Great bike on the slab.

Here's my new addition. My neighbors may not be as thrilled as I am, but I try to be kind by not starting it before 7:30am!

Nice purchase! You should hear it with dual uncorked Arrows. In a parking garage. I had to push mine up four levels just to keep from setting off dozens of alarms. :)

Actually, I've been eyeing a nearly identical one in Italy this week I may bite on, since the baby in my avatar pic is being stored in Canada while I'm over here in Malta for the next few years at least. It's cheaper to buy local than it is to ship her over here (besides it's nice to have a scoot waiting for me when I get back or go on holiday).

There's also a 2002 Tuono R #156 I can pick up for a couple grand more, not sure if it's worth it though, since I can't easily ship that one back, and a Racing is actually a bit better bike than the limited edition (radial vs axial brakes).

my 1st post on this forum :)

and I have a bold statement :)

I doubt any other RSV Mille has seen the type of terrain that my bike has seen :)

This whole forum will be an endless resource of information and media ( photos etc) for me to dig in.

Awesome community.

my first Italian bike!

Loved that SS, put 30k trouble free miles in 4 years on her...she was my sweetheart for sure!

then I was seduced by this red beauty

But Mrs OSJ never really liked the multi, so one day she found out who had my old SS and we bought it back!

She was gone for 4 years, but only had 700 more miles on her!

She's back, and better than ever!
