My '06 Caponord. The first new bike I bought, and like Walter, I was hooked after the test ride. Owned for just over 2 years and almost 15,000 miles.

Talking Great Italians

Thanks for getting this thread started and for posting so many great, unique and beautiful Italian motos. Here is my bevy of Italian metal:

1999 - 996S, with Termis and Ohlins front and rear
2003 - 999S, with slipper clutch & race exhaust and chip (much better)
2006 - 999R Xerox, with slipper clutch
2008 - Desmosedici - yes, its as sick as you think it is

Sorry that the Suzi slipped in the photo.......

I also have two Italian cars.

Keep the thread going ! Great motos & thanks for posting yours.

Dave

I love Aprilias, but I think the Desmo and the 1098 are the best looking bikes out there. If it's half as badass as it looks, I'd probably park in the living room and rub it with diaper every day.

CapoGreg -

The Desmo is probably 100 times more capable than I am. Humbling to ride this bike. By the time it gets to 7,000 rpm on up, you'd better be ready. The down side is that anything under 90mph, the left side is one hot bugger with the exhaust pretty close to your upper thigh area.

I have the full race exhaust on it, but need to change it back to the street exhaust as it is too loud - REALLY too loud; as in attracts the all the coppers from a 2 mile radius too loud.
