Throwing my hat in the ring...seems like there are some very cool background stories as well, so here's mine-
I was quite happy with Miss Piggy for some time... ![]() ![]() ![]() ... great bike, as many of you probably know. But funny how the tides of life change. Friends not riding as much, growing up and old, kids (not me though) and such. Seemed my peer group was slowing down. So, I sold her. To get a Harley but that's a different thread. Heck, I've already broken this thread rule by tossin' a jap bike in, right? Well, I quickly learned that man cannot live by Harley alone. With some scratching and digging, and the support of some good friends (hi dyna mo!), I pursued a bike that I've always wanted but never thought I could have any time soon. Hello Craigslist, hello Tuono. Not pristine, but actually just right. Great deal too. Race Tech massaged fresh front end, and Ohlins in the rear, I was immediately able to ride this bike faster and smoother in the canyons than I ever could the ol' SP2. Couldn't be happier!![]() ![]()

Its a 78, I bought her in 81 with 1200 miles on it. Back when Ferracci was almost unknown he did a bunch of engine mods for me and its ridden constantly and been flawless other than a few clutch cable problems. Goes like hell!
This ones a 68. I bought it in 74 for $70 after some clown tried to make a Chopper out of it. I unchoppered it and rode it for almost a decade with just a few problems but nothing major. I'll be doing a complete restoration on it when time permits. I was able to find all the orignal items that were missing on Ebay but it was a long wait to find them all.
