Scotland?

Not meaning to take anything away from a great biking pic, but ...

As a geordie that has made the north of New Zealand home after living in the north of England for many years, that looks a lot like Bamburgh from the north.

Hi John, well done that man.

The guy on the Guzzi, Dave, was a grounds keeper at Berwick-Upon-Tweed. He had a major Guzzi fetish. We met at the IoM. He used to work 6 mths in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, then 6 mths in NZ (always in the summers). We'd had just finished a tour of Scotland. He very kindly took us for a short tour of the locality.

Whilst I've been scanning these pictures, for many I've lost track of where they actually were. Thats my next task. Thanks for pointing out the location. It's all coming back to me now.

... and in doing so managed to avoid winter in the UK ... lucky man ...

This year I've managed to avoid the Kiwi winter by being back in the UK for a few months, and I just wish that I could avoid winter on a more regular basis.

If you need your memory jogging with any other Northumbrian shots just shout.

Your rear shock is looking pretty compressed. Nice.

That old airhead is the nicest handling bike I've owned.
