I thought it was very nice Harley, even though I am not into this type of riding.

My 1992 R100gs, purchased by me in May 2005 with 40k miles, now at 93k miles. Photo taken in Cumberland Pass, in CO, August 2005. SO, studying map because she didn't believe me about our location not being on there....
and because she's nearsighted.

Photo background: I'd taken one, posed, where she looked so confident. I was using a 50 y/o TLR, because I like them, and because I can even use one w/o removing my helmet. Anyway, after I took the posed shot, she went back to being herself, scrunched up her eyeballs to look really close at the map, and *click*... I got the shot. TLRs are very quiet....

My Bettie
Attachment 193190
What you have is the same old tragic story of the abuse the comes from lack of use. The exhibit here: is my '76 R90/6 with insanely low miles. Now here is the story as told to me. I bought the bought the Beemer from the second owner who only bought it for its Lufmiester Fairing, and then he flipped her to me. Supposedly it all started back in 1975 when a the city of Bellevue, WA's police department a ordered 4, Police Model R90/6's in 083 White. Now for some reason when the bikes arrived, the city only bought one, and the dealer was left with the other three that were sold to the public. I am told that a dentist was the original owner of my bike and he rode it for a few years but for some reason then he stopped riding it with less then 8500 miles on the odometer and then the bike sat unused for over 25+ years. All I can tell is that she was laid down once not hard but the left valve cover is scuffed. And the guy I bought her from did a great job cleaning and rebuilding her vital components. I think I got a great deal, and love this bike. Sure there are still some issues I am having to deal with but nothing that can't be fixed. I have since transferred to New England and have put almost 2500 miles on her in this year. It would be nice to keep her a low mileage show piece but these bike are meant to be ridden, and ride I shall. Clears

Those look as good in white as they do in black.
