This is the 1966 Marusho that I donated to the Barber Museum. It is a Japanese copy of a 1955-69 BMW. Note the adapter to mount a Japanese carburetor to the BMW copy engine!

I bought the bike for a couple hundred bucks and let it sit in the garage. Finally I needed the garage space and found out the Barber Museum did not have a Marusho, so I gave it to them. The bike would of cost a grand or two to restore, and then I could of sold it for a grand or two. Barber did a nice job of restoring my old Murusho.

I am happy to know that my old bike has a home forever.
