This is my "Old School" ride, My 1971 Yamaha DT-1 250. The DT-1 is acknowledged by many to be the 1st true dual sport.

When I'm in the Wayback machine and thinking of daring rides of the past I think of this bike. The windshield was custom bent on a pizza oven and an early model air horn is tie-wrapped to the frame.
In this pic I'm on the way from Minnesota to Mexico on a 4 month tour, though I didn't know this yet.

Yeah all my bikes are older then I am...ah oh well old bikes got way more character then anything new ive seen

my wife rides it and really likes it. shes really new to the whole motorcycle thing but she does pretty good on it. plus it dont matter to much if she drops it a time or two. every time she rides it.

Here's my honey. Her name is "Pretty". As in "Pretty ugly and Pretty apt to stay that way."

Only 103k miles. Just put in new timing belts and changed the anti-freeze. I'm going to keep her for another 103k. If I last that long.
