My TT500 in middle between buddies' XT and TT (yellow was 1978, orange 1979). Suprisingly fast on gravel road!

It's mechanically nicely sorted and rides beautifully. The cosmetics are a bit scruffy (they look much better in these pics than they are). In the medium term, a respray is on the cards - as soon as I can find someone that can paint and pinstripe it without requiring one of my kidneys in exchange.

I'm thinking it would look nice in white...

That does look nice especially in blue.

Even now, when I see an R80RT or Rover SD1 in white I slow down for a moment before realising it's not going to be a traffic officer.

And your point is?

Isn't 1980 old enough for you?

That looks like a mid-80's unit to me and, of course, it's a Guzzi so the technology is much older.

I do. Any bike that's over 20 years old and still running - and is based on an even older design, is old school in my book....

Indian Dispatch Tow

Not mine! Spotted at today's Turkey Pro National in Oley, PA. The current owners dad picked it up in the early 70's. The factory tow bar was used to fetch and deliver cars back in the day.

I guess it's all relative - and mine are all older.

Nice, and I believe you, and if you can start one your a man

First time I rode one I was sure that much torque induced G force was impossible (at 15 years old I wasnt a man at the time:)

In my neighbourhood you had to grow up fast though
