Not a bike but a 74 CB450 engine I'm rebuilding. A box-o-crap bike I bought and trying to get together, I assembled the head to make sure it all worked then took it apart and painting the cam bearing housings. Original it had cross head bolts everywhere but in the big-box-o-crap there was a full set of stainless hex cap bolts for the motor. I like the black with stainless accents. Gonna do the cam covers and side case covers too. My goal is to have a rider by fall.

Before on the left and after

Awesome! Still need to get down here some time, only problem is that it conflicts with our bowling leagues

Here's a few bad cell phone pics from last Wednesday. There were a ton of bikes and scooters. Just your average Wednesday night at the Monkey Wrench

1955 Ural. The post on the front of the sidecar is a machine gun mount. If you look in the car in the middle pic the canvas strap holds the stock when it's not in use. He said he was afraid to ride around with the gun after the Newtown and other shootings.

And some old beemers

Damn, TWO toasters,?! Now we need to get them all together red, blue AND green

The project I would really like to take to the Monkey wrench looks like this at the moment so guess I will have to get a move on!

There's no disguising a loop! Its coming on well. Now the reassembly starts and it will go much more quickly than you think. You'll be riding soon.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Nick, seems like there is always something else that needs to be done first. But you are right that she is ready and waiting for me! Can't wait to get some paint on the tank and fenders, it's gonna look purdy! Now back to getting the front suspension sorted then it's engine in frame time!
