What will be the route prior to Riggins,,,will you be doing somewhat of a loop so as not to backtrack?

My bike is still down... Found a broken spring in the forks that KTM no longer makes.

Should be aftermarket stuff available. Your forks are just like ones used on many KTM models.

I need the rebound spring- Mine came with a 75mm tall spring which is NLA from KTM and none of the 6+ places I called have one in stock. They all have the shorter SM version, but I'm not sure that will work? One place did say that the newer springs that are shorter are also STIFFER than the one I'm supposed to have, and they should work the same way. Kinda thinkin I should put new bushings in while I have it appart too...

the topout spring can't be too important - also in a pinch might find something in hardware stores. I have some main springs and even some short things somewhere. I'd look if you want.

as far as rebuilding - sure it's necessary I have never seen WPs wear out.

They are a hidden secret -Ron there knows how to really tune WP he might have some take out stuff 357-3042

I take it you dont give a rats @#$ where you are going just as long as your riding....

I was thinking it was next weekend, this one coming up is Mothers day and my leash is on till after the festivities. Sat is getting ready for it.

BUT the 15th has distinct probabilities, Maybe DP will have his spring re-sprung by then too.

I am not to particular except not thrilled about muddy stuff, too paranoid about my knees.

How about the Makey mine tour? then backtrack on hyway 93 and up antelope creek to dry fork road and then champagne creek road. There are alot of old mines to see up there I think. I could go Sat. Meet at rest stop past the Y going towards Arco or anywhere else would be fine too.
