In the land of wagons there is nothing sexier than the E30 Touring. Almost unobtanium in the states

You live in the land of the cherry early japanese cars and trucks. 510 Wagon would be nice. Why does WA and OR seem to have so many early Japanese stuff?

There are two of E30s for sale in my neck of the woods. One is a JDM import, and left hand drive.
This is the other one, with the M Tech bodywork.

Now look what you have me doing.

This was my original plan before buying the BMW. Mercedes E320. Bikes sure look good behind wagons.

No where near as nice as a bimmer 5series wagon, but my '06 Mazda 6 wagon has over 115K miles and no problems yet. 6 cylinder engine takes regular gas, gets around 27mpg, hauls a small trailer with no problems. Had three dirtbikes on it once. Can fit my mountain bike inside it. Handles well, but could use some new shocks. Oh, and its a five speed manual. Got it new from the dealer for under $20k. Showed up at the end of the year when they really wanted to move cars out.

Next car will probably be a diesel Jetta wagon once I wear this one out.

Last month I found a 2006 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon with 22k on it. It was in nice shape, so I had to buy it! Really nice car and fun to drive. But with the 6 speed slush box, I'm averaging about 21 mpg. Oh well, I'm still glad I bought it. My first real wagon since I sold my Saturn SW2 in 2003. They just feel good.

the stages must have been disasters - we saw sweep come through on one of the four stages we spectated.

the chinese team did run one stage with a turn signal on, which i thought was pretty funny.
