Ahem! Are you implying something? -- a new ride, or were you going to see what that Bandit can do off pavement?

Anyone ever try this?

My favorite rain forcast. NOAA says 80% rain Sat. I'm imagining broken showers, maybe a bit much for a long ride? Sunday looks better, but then again, I don't worship the pigskin.

I'm out of town this weekend, but would like to do a half-day ride tomorrow morning. The below link is somewhat useful to get an hour by hour short-term forecast. The second link's radar image shows what's coming. PM me if you've got the day off Fri also and would like to meet at 9 am.

I did a half-day ride once... twelve stitches later, I was practically good as new.

President's Day Ride

So it turns out that I have Monday, Presiden't Day, off of work. Anyone else not working Monday? The current forecast is saying dry. Let's ride. Let's make it a more or less full-day deal as opposed to our recent half-day outings. I'm flexible on start time and route. Meet 9 am, in NW?

WB, you got that DR buttoned back up? Need carb?

Still need the carb... I am too broke to do much with the project, so I am taking it slow and doing the 'free' or cheap stuff. Got the kickstand tab fixed, so now I am just focusing on painting and cleaning.

My goal is March 6 to have it done, but that depends on how much overtime I can squeeze onto this paycheck. I'll be looking to pick up the carb next weekend probably. Sorry for the delay.

Tools?

Hey all you studs-I need to put a tool kit together for riding both the YZ and the KTM off-road and curious what you boys carry? I have a Camel-back that I use for Mtn biking so I assume I can stuff whatever in that, but I'm curious what specific tools you guys carry. Thanks

Ken

Preface: I am not a stud, and these other guys have ridden and broken down in the woods more than I have.

Tire\tube things as appropriate, a big pair of adjustable pliers, a few spanners that I know are common on whatever the bike is, a tool to remove the sparkplug (sometimes a length of hose is the best thing... doubles as fuel line) and one of these:

And then the most commonly used thing: zip ties.
