Keep those videos coming Scott. They're great and yes, quaded out it a word it has to be since we all know what it means.

Ah, you listened to my rambling! Thanks for the encouragement Ladybug (and others).

Will need to try to do one from the Jamboree and other events throughout the year.

Thanks - "Julies Trail" was the name of one of the trails, that kept going, and going, and going. Took too much video and had to edit out a ton, like where I had introduced each trail. I was going to do that in order to review where I was later.

I could plan the audio a little bit better, but that'd be too much work! Hopefully with time, I'll get better at ad-libing them...or maybe I'll find better royalty-free music and be less talky.

Thanks Al.

Did you notice that they tore up that Rogers Road they just put in last year (0:39-1:30). That's directly out of Rogers Camp. Another rider says they are going to log all the buffer areas right along the roads in Oregon as a revenue generator for the state. Hope it's not true - what was a nice trail through deep woods, is now a clearcut between the trail and hwy 26. Guess it's revenue generating, working forest after all.

Great vid Scott, and love the narration. Thank you for putting in the time to edit and post. The video always makes the hills seem less steep. The loop is ever expanding, making for a great days ride.

If it is not true now, it or something similar, soon will be.

My advice: Ride your favorite trails soon, and ride them often. Tomorrow they will likely be entirely different, or be gone altogether.

I have lost track of the number of good trails that have been washed out, bulldozed into roads, or clear-cut into a scene unrecognizable.

The Burn is (as is indicated by its name) constantly evolving, and you have to enjoy it a day at a time, because whatever you think of it now, it will soon be a different place.

I am always sad to see a good trail change for the worse, but I have also seen some make their way back. Too bad they don't come back as fast as they go.

Scott, keep up the good work on the videos; they make a good archive. All of my favorite trails are stored in my fading memory.

From what I saw this last year, we gained more than we lost. The new trails just aren't anywhere near Brown's Camp.

Would you like a tour?

We do have that, but I was referring to the old trails recuperating.
