Luke are the jeep trails you thinking of require a plate?
Scott,

Same here, once the rain hits I'll be heading back to the truck...
The route takes us over to Jordan Creek and back or we could ride with Luke....
I do not have a plate on my 200 so OHV trails and roads..
There are not too many black diamonds, maybe one but I skirt around that on anyway, it is a really fun loop!

Not missing this one! You gonna be there?

Trying to swing it!

Nothing wrong with Millican & generally staying close to camp.

Enjoy, I was sorely tempted to join you, but it is a 3 hr round trip from the SE side, so I'm going to head out 224 and explore more of the LaDee flats OHV area, that way I am only 30 minutes from home when the rains hit.

Anyone wanting to join me is welcome, I don't currently have a departure time as I'm waiting for the caffeine to hit the blood stream.

Best of luck to everyone.

hope everyone had a good ride, I did a bit of exploring out 4610, 4611

tried to find the 801,802, 803, but it was too muddy and slick to do much more than the fire roads and even on those the front end washed out a few times, but I kept the rest of the bike upright.

Nicely set up bike there Dragon rider.

Is that a 2-bros pipe you've got there?

What brand are the tank panniers?

So you rode over Estacada way?

Thanks, I'm having fun with it. But I'm tempted to put the 351 kit on it :)

and yup, two brother pipe (on the bike when I got it)

tank panniers are just ATV panniers (ATV logic is the brand) I got for $20

http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/...%20tank%20bags

I'm in Milwaukie so I often ride out to estacada or molalla to explore.

and it has an alter ego, what I really want the big bore for :)

Probably best you did other exploring Mark. It was downright nasty up at Rogers camp. I think we were the last ones to pull out of there about 4 pm. Pretty much had a good rain all day long, and quite heavy at times. The streams mud flows down the trails were often faster than me. Still a fun day in the woods...next time dryer!

No pictures :( too wet.

Nope 07 klx250s (6spd) but I'm told it is the same bottom end as the 300 and you can just bolt on a factory top or there are 331 and 351 kits for it
I'm planning on the 351 as there are several good build threads and folks have put some miles on the kits and been happy with them

Just picture 5 drowned muddy rats trying to act like adv riders in a muddy stream filled forest trying to see which puddle to cross or skirt! It was really fun!
Two problems: Trying to see when your goggles are so soaked the condensation is almost as bad as the water on the outside.
Kinda slowed me down a bunch. Probably good though
Cleaning up all the muddy gear is a big job, bike was easier than usual, gear not so much!
Good group, fun riding!

soooooo...how'd the new bike go?

I spose it all depends on what tread you were running.

Squishy,
So If your asking about my new to me KTM 200 XCW It is so much fun in the tight stuff and the hill climbs! Super easy to ride in the crap we rode in Saturday! I traded the CRF450R for the KTM.... The CRF is way good out at east Fort Rock and the wide open trails but is not a good choice for Browns Camp , Nestucca etc!
Was way fun, set up and carb, jetting was spot on! I ride with a friend Nick who usually just kills me in the tight stuff, but I was right on his tail all day and passed him a few time in the really tight stuff! As you know I'm not small #235lbs and the bike had no complaints pulling me around! For my size person was like riding a 125 cc 2 stroke with a great bottom end and then screams when you get on the pipe and dance through the gearbox! ! Super light weight makes it easy to move and get around!
Ran a MotoZ DOTIntermediate knobbie on the rear and an old Bridgestone 403 on the front! The DOT rear rocks, I'll see how it works for longevity, cause it really hooked up well in the soup!

I'll give you a better review when I ride it when I can see! Goggles were fogged and wet all day, so it was hard to rail anything! Like Scott said there were times when it seemed like we were going slower than the creeks flowing down the trail! Seriously ....

Now if your talking about Dragon Riders new ride you'll have to ask him!

Yes Piggy, it was you i was questioning...doesn't everyone!

I'm glad that that bike works for you, they are building them fairly tall today, but i was thinking that you'd dwarf it. Have to ride with ya...when the trails dry out!
