Yeah, hackster, keep an eye out here for future rides. Maybe you guys can show us some tracks out in the 'mook forest someday too. I've been wanting to check out Roger's/Brown's Camp on a moto; been out there many times on a mt bike. It's probably pretty sloppy there this time of year ...

Jones Creek sounds like it closes on Friday the 20th. They have some pretty nasty trails out there. A few of us are going to head out there when they reopen.
I would be down for a Saturday ride, especially if it is early in the day. Might even get a few of the Supermoto crowd to show up with me...... I would be more than happy to show you guys around Browns camp/rogers camp area, I am just beginning to explore the Diamnond Mill area so that may be a wild goose chase!!! But I would like to see some of these Scappoosssssseee roads that you all speak of..... You guys going to start up a new thread for Saturday? Sean |

If you guys want, I can always edit the first post of this thread to reflect the next planned ride, and this thread can become the place to look to join an off-pavement ride in and around the Portland area. I guess if the next instigator of a ride asks me to do so, this thread might evolve into that ...

I got some work to do on my new Heep, so early or late on Saturday (and not an all-day-ride) would be good. I think we should meet-up a little earlier, 9 or 9:30 since we always seem to need a while to get on the road.
Right now it is looking like 45 and Showers for the Portland area, that means snow in the Scappoose hills... |

A lot of people with a lot of money like the TKC80s. Other than that you are looking at the DOT knobbies made by IRC\Kenda\Maxxis\ChenShin\Dunlop D606.
