Ken, why don't you just pay all of the PDX'ers to kick you in the nuts instead of keeping that KTM. It would be cheaper and a lot less painful

Your Sabre misses you anyway.

Actually, as long as I keep my KTM, my Sabre gets lots of use.

Apple: you guys doing the Barlow rd on Sat, it that correct?

Mraz/Scout: you doing Diamond Mill Sat about 930/1000 AM in the big parking area?

I gots Sat open, leaning towards Diamond M w/real dirt bike, but Barlow/Wamic/beer/tractor racing track is good too!

No bad choices here this weekend.

Good choices indeed this weekend. Bummer that I've got commitments, familiy stuff in Eugene. However, I'll toss this on-pavement option out there to anyone who might be interested: I'll be taking a long way to Eugene, on the east side of I-5 though Mt Angel, Stayton, Sweet Home, that sort of thing. Anyone want to join me for all or part of the way, looping back to Portland at some point some other route?

Looking at the map, I would like to ride from Estacada to Detroit Lake, but I think that might take too long and get me to Eugene too late.

Yep. Meeting at the old Historic Clackamas Lake Ranger Station on FS42 (Skyline Rd) below Timothy Lake about 9:30. Group of 6-8 maybe? Welcome to just show up. I plan to be at the Ranger Station by 9am.

My frickin (*&^%$##$%&& KTM is OUT. You FFers jinxed it by making fun of them breaking all the time. First the Water Pump, now this. Sounds maybe un-related, but might be in the clutch area that I had to remove cover for the water pump fix. Just happened last night, no time to tear apart, must work today.

The old Shadow it is for me then, so I guess I gotta skirt around on the pavement while everyone else has fun on old Barlow. I'm happy to do easy gravel, but that old 1984 suspension ain't keepin' up on the rough stuff, and she still runs great (thanks TP!). Still sounds like a blast to me.

So..... the Barlow group invite just opened up to other PAVEMENT riders, anyone wanna join me, while the dirty boys laugh at us? There is LOTS of AWESOME Forest pavement there FWIW. That's why I'm going anyway.

Several (and me) are spending the night somewhere/nowhere and riding around Badger border on Sunday (not me); I'll point on the map, and join at the one lane paver it ends on.

Looks like the Shadow is my "Moonlight Ride" ride on Monday too, Hells Alien. Oh well, she needs love too!

Sorry, but it was too good to pass up.

But look at the bright side, I only had to replace one part.

Probably my imagination, but it feels like it does.

I've decided to believe it.
