Thanks for the comments on my Monza Jr. It was a lot of fun to build and have it down there. I've still got work to do on it but IMHO the initial outing was quite succesful.

My first bike was a '72 350 scrambler, way back in late '73. I've got a soft spot for them. I was told the same guy owned the gold 750GT too. I guess he's got a matching pair.

I was recently given a narrow case 250 motor in boxes, it might be a mach 3. I need to find a roller to start a build. But that will be after my 750 GT

I was riding my Nevada 750 along the highway between Ljubljana and Celje, Slovenia one day about five years ago when I passed this fellow. He waved me over and we stopped for a chat and a coffee. His name is Ivan, and he told me he bought this bike new in 1955.

While Swiss military utillized, the Condors were likely manufactured in Spain.

Cool listing at bluemooncycle.com Thanks for the heads up thunderkat59.

Great story!

Well, except for the part that the bike he's pictured with is Nuovo Falcone which was produced between 1971 and 1976.

He didn't speak English, and my Slovene is not exactly fluent. But what's a couple of decades?
