new arrival

Shipper delivered this today. My Moto Giro ride for later in the year.
Anyone know who restores seats for such bikes? I want to redo the seat with a bumm stop like the Motobi version.

Some of my oldie pictures from Venezuela, 1950-1954. When I'm not in the picture, I took them. They are all 205, posted before in places, but they belong in a "Italian singles" thread.

Feruccio Dalle Fusine on a Moto Guzzi Airone 250. He later was the chief technician to Daytona winner/World champion Johnny Cecotto:

The same Gilera the next year - I stopped racing:

I love how bored #18 on the Benelli looks. That's great. Man, being passed by someone who looks like he's half-asleep has to be good for your ego.

But a 125?
That is a Pulsar engine. Bodywork slightly different, wheels and brakes different. Amazing - although the tail pipe of the exhaust is different, it has exactly the same heatshields. And the footpeg brackets are definitely Pulsar, and the clutch cable bracket on the engine.
(I've got a UG3.)

I love this stuff! If you were to start a flickr stream Paul, we could add your photos to this:

http://www.flickr.com/groups/1610998@N25/

Or with your permission I can add them to my photostream (with credit to you) and then include them in the group.

BTW- I'm the administrator.

One more. Very modified Moto Guzzi 500cc at the Klausen Pass vintage race in Switzerland. I took the picture. Free to be used.

Wes Burden of Apex Cycles (who I recommend over any other shop, ever) just finished up a customers 57 MV 125cc. My brother did the photo shoot while I did a video shoot. Here's just a teaser (I'll have the video edited soon):

OK, I've uploaded them to flickr from your photobucket account. They had to take a stop on my laptop enroute. Thanks!
