Not sure how I like it yet. Seems OK, we'll see how it feels in use.
Did you design it first using a CAD system

All kidding aside, it is a nice clean design, but you might get frustrated getting the pencils lined up with the second smaller holes.

You need to make another hammer you can use, that one should be framed as a work of art.

I made a test stand for my hot rod engine yesterday. Made entirely from scrap steel, mostly fine Italian steel (Ducati motorcycle crates).

I have a radiator to mount yet, plus a battery tray and simple gauge set up.

My folks had a home heated with a wood stove; they had the stove at one end of the living room and the chimney at the other, connected by a long run of flue pipe. Same idea, lower tech.

I don't have a bucket list, I have a post-bucket list. So far it includes
1) Coroner's report is to read "Death by misadventure."
2) Dixieland jazz band at my funeral.

So I was sitting there at school a few days ago... and suddenly... it hit me. Here's a hint. I think it's fairly obvious.

Get some small diameter barstock and you can have everyone make their own scribe!

My Dad used to work for John Deere back in the day. He has stories about a "paper shredder" that was build out the back end of a combine... Said the operators would carry out PALLETS of paper to be shredded- by dumping the entire load, pallet and all, into the shredder. Guess it was kind of a running joke to see what you could run through the shredder. Worked great until someone sent a *large* ball bearing through it...

Don't think this pencil sharpener's going to work too well for metal, although you would not believe some of the things I"ve pulled out of these things.
