Simple, clean. BUT, D00D... radius them corners and break the edges. Oh, and maybe splurge for a fourth bolt... and a kevlar stuff sack.

Nothing special or impressive, but I needed a way to hold my Motofizz tailbag steady and still have room for the girlfriend on the rear seat. It fits great when I'm riding solo, but 2-up it's VERY in the way.
So on my lunch break at work I did a little welding, some riveting and a little work on the shear. Viola! 2 bolts to install/uninstall, weighs only a few ounces and keeps ALL of my passenger room intact. It's ugly, but it's never seen when it's on the bike ![]() And in use

That's beautiful. I'd like to do stuff like that when i retire. I've seen well-made haunted house doll houses that were interesting along similar lines.

Riding my bike yesterday about 6 p.m., heading east. Can't see my GPS screen very well because the setting sun is washing it out. It's mounted on a suction cup attached to the fairing windshield.
Saw this just after you posted the pictures last week. Guess what popped into my mind while riding and thinking "How can I fix that?" with the GPS? I can do the same by mounting the small Nuvi right to the fuse box cover on the CX with some velcro. I'll post a pic or two on how I did mine shortly....

A machine sculpture. You may recognize some of the components. Further explanation for its existence is complicated.
